A Christ life

Tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Romans 5:3-4

James 1:2-4
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops, perseverance. Perseverance must finish its works so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

James 1:12
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.


I write this because I know that we all face trials in our life. But what is our source of strength? Not any other than our God, our Abba Father. As it says trying to live a Christ honouring life while experiencing hardship can leave us frustrated and discouraged. But when we depend on God to help us through our difficulties, we are empowered to keep going even when we can't always see the resolution of our problems, Galatians 6:9 reminds us not to grow weary while doing good and encourages us not to give up. When trials intrude to slow down your life, it would be easy for you to give in; but by perseverance you'll overcome strife, so just keep on plodding-with Christ you can win.

Maybe in your heart now you may think that it is easy to say but to do,it is difficult. I know it all because I am like one of you. Only when you tell God that you will surrender and obey, you will see light at the other end of the tunnel. Always remember this for it is very important: God has never forsake you or forgotten you. It is WE who do not have faith or we give up. We think that we are not Paul or King David, it is not possible for us to be like them. We always think that we are so smart and clever. This is the thought that Satan put in to destroy us. The consequences is too big for us to bear. Let me remind you that Satan is so clever so drop thought into your mind. These thoughts always carry a little truth in it and if you are not careful, you fall into the trap of Satan. So in everything, seek and ask God. Do not bother what the world may say about you, the most important is you are right with God first.
